About Us

The Sasol Siyakha Enterprise and Supplier Development Trust (Siyakha Trust) was founded in 2007 by Sasol Group Services (Pty) Ltd, Sasol Synfuels (Pty) Ltd and Sasol Mining (Pty) Ltd.

The Trust assists black-owned suppliers, entrepreneurs and contractors with the creation, development, funding and accelerated growth of their B-BBEE enterprises through capital investments, ongoing post-investments, and fit-for-purpose mentorship and developmental support.

The Trust utilises funding to deliver successful B-BBEE enterprises to local economies in areas where the Sasol Group has a presence. This is done in an effort to empower SMEs to flourish into sustainable businesses by increasing access to more opportunities within each business owner’s respective industry.

Our Mandate

The Sasol Siyakha Trust can give enterprise owners access to more market opportunities while guiding them through business challenges, thereby accelerating their success.

The success of one business eventually benefits another, allowing
the Trust to contribute to the continued growth of the South African economy.

We aim to uplift and support black-owned and led suppliers, promoting diversity and inclusion within the business landscape, while advancing Sasol Siyakha’s strategic intent to foster economic growth and build a more equitable and resilient environment for
B-BBEE enterprises in business.

Why Choose Us

The Siyakha Trust was established to address the gap in access to funding faced by entrepreneurs. It’s positioned to cater to entities that are not able to attract commercial credit.

Through the backing of the Siyakha Trust, SMEs are more equipped to fulfil their contractual obligations. While the trust’s primary goal isn’t profit maximisation, it strives for sustainability, recognising that preserving capital is of paramount importance to continue providing vital support to these businesses.

Who We Fund

Economic transformation is one of the main objectives of the Sasol Siyakha Trust, and as such, we are proud to be partnering with qualifying black-owned businesses to help them reach their next milestones while ensuring the sustainability of their growth journey.
