Sasol Siyakha’s Women Empowerment Finance is tailored to uplift and support black women-owned/led suppliers, promoting diversity and inclusion within the business landscape, while advancing Sasol Siyakha’s strategic intent to foster economic growth and build a more equitable and resilient environment for women in business.

This transformative funding solution is specifically designed to accelerate access to affordable capital for 100% black women-owned and managed suppliers who are participants in the Sasol Enterprise and Supplier Development Programme across all sectors within Sasol’s value chain.

Offer and limits:

  • The funding offers interest-free loans for qualifying suppliers. The loans range from R250 000 up to R2 000 000 per beneficiary.
  • The funding offering is intended for asset purchases and can also serve as working capital.
  • The funding offering is available once per beneficiary.

Additional Criteria:

  • Your enterprise should be a 100% black women-owned, managed, and led SME.
  • You have to be a Sasol development programme participant.

Repayment Terms:

  • We offer repayment periods for asset purchase loans for up to 5 years
  • We offer repayment periods for working capital loans for up to 12 months.

Benefits:

  • Get access to interest-free loans for asset purchases and working capital that are not linked to purchase orders.
  • Get dedicated post-investment support with one-on-one mentorship and access to our advisory board.

Sasol Fuel Stations Financing: Property Development Funding for Sasol Convenience Centres

This product is aimed at SMEs who have been approved to develop a Sasol Convenience Centre by Sasol.

Offer:

  • We offer loan funding to cover the development costs of the Sasol Convenience Centre.
  • We offer an interest rate moratorium for the duration of the construction (limited to 6 months).

Additional criteria for property development funding:

  • Should be approved by Sasol to develop a Sasol Convenience Centre.
  • Need a signed Sasol head lease agreement.
  • Need approved building plans.
  • Should meet all of the Sasol Energy property development requirements.

Repayment terms:

  • We offer repayment terms of up to 10 years.

Benefits:

  • 100% funding available limited to lease repayments covering monthly instalments.
  • Interest moratorium during the construction of your Sasol Convenience Centre (limited to 6 months).

Sasol Fuel Stations Financing: Franchisee Funding for Sasol Convenience Centres

This product is aimed at SMEs who have been approved to develop a Sasol Convenience Centre by Sasol.

Offer:

  • We offer loan funding to cover the franchise fees, business acquisition costs and working capital.

Additional criteria for franchisee development funding:

  • Approved and appointed by Sasol as a franchisee for a Sasol Convenience Centre.
  • A signed Sasol franchisee agreement.
  • An approved retail license.
  • Meet all of Sasol’s energy requirements.

Repayment terms:

  • We offer repayment periods of up to 60 months for franchise fees and business acquisition loans for existing businesses.
  • We offer repayment periods of up to 12 months for working capital loans.

Benefits:

  • Up to 100% funding available based on affordability.

Transporter Development Funding Solution

The Transporter Development Funding Solution offers loans for asset funding to beneficiaries so they can purchase bulk, break-bulk, fuel and chemical tankers. Our financial aid also includes interest-free purchase order load funding and negotiated rates with suppliers.

Offer:

  • We offer loans for asset funding to purchase trucks, trailers and tankers at preferential rates.
  • We offer interest-free purchase order loan funding for working capital (fuel).

Additional criteria:

  • The business should be a Sasol Transporter Development Programme participant.
  • The business should obtain a Sasol purchase order or contract.

Repayment Terms:

  • We offer repayment periods of up to 60 months for asset finance.
  • We offer repayment periods of up to 12 months for working capital.

Benefits:

  • Get up to 100% funding available based on affordability.

Township Development Funding Solution

The Township Development Funding Solution helps to stimulate economic activity for SMEs located in the Sasol surrounding townships where Sasol operates to support the Fenceline Development Project initiatives.

Offer:

  • The funding offers interest-free loans for qualifying suppliers. The loans range from R250 000 up to R2 000 000 per beneficiary.
  • The funding offering is intended for asset purchases and can also serve as working capital.
  • The funding offering is available once per beneficiary.

Additional Criteria:

  • Your enterprise has to be a 100% black-owned SME.
  • The enterprise must be operating in a township, or the owner should live in a township.
  • The business should have a valid Sasol contract or purchase order.

Repayment Terms:

  • We offer repayment periods of up to 60 months for asset finance.
  • We offer repayment periods of up to 12 months for working capital.

Benefits:

  • Get access to interest-free loans for asset purchases and working capital that are not linked to purchase orders.
